  • No. You buy the Pebble once. The app is free, with no paid tier.

  • Any iPhone or Android phone that can read NFC. That’s most phones from the last five years.

  • One. It works with any number of phones. Duo and Family are for a second place or a second person.

  • Shipping cost and time for your country show at checkout, before you pay.

  • Send it back within sixty days for a full refund. Write to us and we’ll sort it out.

Using it.

Tap to start a pause. Walk to end it.

  • The apps you picked go quiet. Everything else works: calls, texts, maps, music, the camera. Tap your Pebble again to end it.

  • Take temporary access: five, ten, fifteen or twenty minutes, confirmed with a tap of your Pebble. Then the pause carries on.

  • Then you walk to it. That’s the point. For real emergencies there are five unlocks a week that don’t need the Pebble at all. They come back on Mondays.

  • No. There’s no battery. It’s a passive NFC chip inside a stone; your phone powers it for the tap.

  • Yes. One Pebble works with any number of phones. Each phone keeps its own modes and pauses.

  • Somewhere on purpose: the hallway shelf, the kitchen, the nightstand. Not your pocket.

  • A named set of apps and sites to quiet. Rest, Evening Rest and Morning Anchor come ready; make your own for the evening, the weekend, the desk.

  • Pauses that start on their own, on the days and times you pick. Evening Rest runs 9:30 in the evening to 7 in the morning, if you want it to.

  • A pause that stays locked until you tap your Pebble. No temporary access, no ending early. For when you really mean it.

  • The hours you were off your apps, today and in total. A streak, which you can hide.

  • No. Everything stays on your phone. There is nothing to sign up for.
